An account keeps your drafts, the things you sent us, and your public channel. That is all it is for. We do not ask for anything we do not need in order to put your goods on the shelf.
The seller area needs our server, and it is not answering right now. The page below shows exactly what it looks like and what we ask for. There is no password field anywhere on these pages — signing in is a link we e-mail you, so there is no password to lose or leak.
No password, ever. We send a link to your e-mail; opening it signs you in. A password we never store is a password that can never leak, and one you can never lose.
What we will ask for
- A channel name How people see you on the shelf. It can be changed later.
- An e-mail address So we can tell you when the benchmark is done. It reaches nobody else, and it is not sold to anyone.
- What you sell, in one sentence It helps us know which benchmark fits you.
What we will not ask for
- No password, until we have somewhere proper to keep one.
- No card, no bank details, no documents. Those come only when money actually moves, and then through someone who is allowed to hold them — not through us.
- Nothing personal about you. We sell things, not data about people.
Why an account at all? Only so that a thing you sent us has an owner, and so that you can see where it got to without writing to ask. Everything on the public shelf stays readable without an account — including the machine face of the catalogue. Nothing on this site hides behind a login.
